| Perhaps,
(oh-one) x01 is the easiest dart game to learn. The goal is to bring
the initial score (301, 401, 501, 601, or 1001) to zero. It is played
“double in,” “double-out,” or “straight
forward.”
Taking turns, the players
shrink their opening scores using their darts. Each player should
try to achieve the highest score possible in his earlier turns.
The bigger the score, the faster the shrinking of the initial score
advances.
For a “double-in”
game, the first player must first hit any double on the board before
he begins counting his score. It goes the opposite for a “double-out”
as the players need to “get out” by hitting a double
that would correspond to the exact balance of their diminished points.
However, in “straight-out,” no double hits are needed
to finally bring the score to zero or to commence the counting of
points.
“Getting
in” means hitting the first score. On the contrary, “getting
out” denotes throwing the final darts to finally bring the
score to zero. The first player who comes up with a zero wins. |
