| This is a game of elimination. It can
be considered a good practice for novices since all of the areas of
the board can be played. Two players or teams are needed for this
game.
The game: one player or team plays the “top”
army and the other plays the “bottom.” The top army
owns the numbers 11, 14, 9, 12, 5, 20, 1, 18, 4, and 13 while the
bottom has 6, 10, 15, 2, 17, 3, 19, 7, 16 and 8. These numbers serve
as the soldiers of the warring armies. The players try to kill each
other’s soldiers by targeting the numbers on the board. To
win, a player must eliminate all of the opponent’s soldiers.
The numbers for every player are recorded on the
scoreboard. Every time a number is hit, it is marked X. A player
may kill his own soldiers so he should be careful not to land darts
on his numbers.
The game can be made more
difficult by designating particular portions of the numbers to be
hit in order to kill a soldier. For example, the players may agree
to hit only the doubles or triples ring to kill a soldier. |
